The Downtown Promotions Advisory Council is made up of chairs of Promotion & Design committees, CEO of Chamber, City of Newton representative, Chamber board member and Chamber staff coordinator for the program.

Our Sponsor for the March Breakfast with the Chamber will be the Sand Creek Summer Daze Festival.
The cost to attend is $10.00 with advance reservations. Please register for the breakfast by the end of the day on Tuesday, March 13. Walk-ins to the breakfast and those who request invoicing after the event are charged $11.00. If you reserve, you are responsible to pay even if you do not eat or are unable to attend. Spring Sand Creek Clean Up with NYP
We invite you to put your workin' pants on and join your fellow NYP crew in cleaning the banks of Sand Creek. Meet at the 5th St reet shelter/bridge in Athletic Park at 4:30 pm. We will clean from 5th Street to Broadway Street. Help us to maintain our community pride and keep our Sand Creek lookin' snazzy just in time for spring.

Ribbon Cutting for Newton's Newest Historical Marker
Join us for a ribbon cutting for Newton's newest historical marker, which highlights the history of Newton's cowboy era. The marker is set in the former Hide Park district at Community National Bank & Trust at Main & Second. The ribbon cutting will be held at 2 p.m. with remarks from bank representatives and the Harvey County Historical Museum, followed by refreshments in the bank
