We invite you to kick off your 4th of July weekend by participating in our first ever online Chamber dessert auction! The auction will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on July 2nd, and during that time you will be able to bid on a variety of desserts donated by local businesses and individuals.



What is this auction for?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our Chamber took a hard hit financially as we were unable to apply for any government disaster assistance as a 501(c)6 non-profit organization. So proceeds of this dessert auction will help assist your Chamber in making up lost revenues due to the cancellation of fundraising events.



How will the auction work?

On June 2nd, just visit https://www.betterunite.com/NewtonAreaChamberofCommerce-chamberofcommercedessertauction/Auction?a=b1bba87f-c3ee-4855-ac08-7ae405f6f816 to see a list of items up to bid. Click on the "Register to bid" button in the top left hand corner of the screen, enter your information, and you will be able to bid on the items you would like. If you have the highest bid on an item by 3:00 p.m., you will be the recipient of that dessert. If you win, you have until 5:00 p.m. to pick up your dessert from the Chamber office at 500 N Main, Suite 101.



What desserts will be up for auction?

We will add items to the auction website as they are donated to us for you to view. Images of each dessert will be uploaded the day of the auction.



Don't want a dessert but would still like to support the Chamber?

Feel free to give by donation using the giving center on the event website! You are also welcome to give a donation in person or by mail at our office: 500 N Main, Suite 101 Newton, KS 67114. We appreciate your help and support, and are very thankful for your generosity.
