We are currently searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Tech & Inspector for our Sterling, Kansas location. This position is full-time Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. $21.64 - $28.48/hr



The Quality Assurance Tech & Inspector is responsible for performing manufacturing inspection processes and final inspection to assure that product meets company standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. Maintains complete and accurate records of inspection results.

What you would be working on: 
-  Review manufacturing inspection processes along with customer specifications throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
- Ensure all specifications are met during the manufacturing and quality control process
- Perform calibration testing, monitoring and measurement activities, and incoming quality inspections as needed
- Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
- Troubleshoot causes of defects and make recommendations for changes
 - Ensures all defects are fixed, repaired or returned.
 - Approves outbound products by confirming specifications and conducting visual inspections using QC checklists. Starts, operates and observes fully functional products.
Requirements
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical school or related college courses, a plus
- Previous Agricultural manufacturing experience, a plus.
- Required to demonstrate professional behavior towards team members, members of management, and customers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality integrity.
- Must be extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Computer skills are required with frequent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Quality Management software, ERP system, and HRIS system (Timekeeping).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
