What you would be working on:
1. Thinks safety and exercises safe work habits in daily endeavors.
2. Selects paint as needed for proper color and pours paint into hopper.
2. Moves switches and dials to start flow current and to activate conveyor and paint spraying equipment.
3. Turns valves and observes gauges to set pressure and to control flow of paint to paint gun.
4. Adjusts nozzle to regulate width and amount of spray.
5. Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface.
6. Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas.
7. Readjusts pressure valves and gun nozzle to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating.
8. Records Powder delivery pressure, atomization pressures, deflector sizes, filter and sieve sizes, venturi replacement schedule and line speed.
9. Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from paint gun, nozzles, spray heads, and hoses.
10. Trouble shoots paint problems.
11. Trouble shoots and fixes painting equipment.
12. Creates minimal rework; can perform all paint rework.
13. Performs the duties of an Assembler II.
14. Other duties as assigned.
