Matt Hamm was born and raised in Newton, KS, and has always dreamed of owning his own
company in Newton one day. That dream came true when Matt opened RailTrust Mortgage. Matt’s
passion is to help clients feel like a part of the RailTrust family and work with people they can trust.
With over 20 years of lending experience in the mortgage industry, including holding almost every
role throughout the mortgage process at one point or another, Matt is excited to share his
knowledge and expertise with fellow Kansans. Matt graduated from Baker University in 2017 with a
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance.
As the President and CEO of RailTrust Mortgage, Matt oversees all aspects of the mortgage process
and is passionate about simplifying the process and helping everyone find the right mortgage for
their dream home.
When Matt is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family – his wife, Jen, and twin
daughters, Lila and Sophie. Matt also enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
