Join us on May 14th at 10:30 AM for a groundbreaking ceremony for Sanctuary on the Prairie Project at Prairie View. 

This project offers crisis stabilization services for individuals who need support without hospitalization. Participants can stay in fully independent units for up to 90 days while receiving services at Prairie View. For those without a suitable home environment, this is an alternative to congregate living. 

Services are also available for individuals needing immediate stabilization at the Behavioral Urgent Care Hospital. By meeting basic needs, the likelihood of entering crisis decreases. Prairie View staff will assist with daily living skills, helping individuals gain meaningful employment and secure long-term housing to maintain independence and prevent recurring crises.  

This groundbreaking ceremony will take place at Prairie View at 1901 E. 1st St. in Newton. Refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!
