Mural Dedication - Buffalo Mural
The Chamber is invited to a dedication of the Buffalo Mural on October 10th, 2022 (Indigenous Peoples Day) at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will take place at the back of the 302 N Main building, which houses Shield Roofing.
The new mural is a dyptich mural (consisting of 2 murals) that celebrates and remembers those who were before Newton - the indigenous tribes who lived here, and the Buffalo who roamed the land.
At the mural dedication, members of the Newton Mural and Arts project will share more about the concept of the mural, and they will attach the mural to the building.
All are welcome to attend this ceremony.
