If you are a downtown business, it's time to start brainstorming for your window display for this year's Deck Downtown! This event takes place at the beginning of December, where downtown stores can enter a window decorating contest to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.

Since downtown Newton is the heart of our community, we want to make it a destination - a special place to shop, eat and enjoy - during the holiday season. Community members have the opportunity to vote online for their favorite window displays. After the winners are announced, businesses can keep their decorations through the Christmas holiday. This helps brighten up main street and add a special holiday feel to our community!

Voting is open to the public (people's choice!) and will start on December 5th, however we encourage you to have your display done by November 30th in time for the Parade of Lights on December 1st to emphasize the Christmas feeling in our downtown! Voting will end on December 16th and the winners will be announced the following week.

The deadline to sign up to participate is Monday, November 28th. All downtown businesses, members and non-members alike, are encouraged and welcome to participate. There is no buy-in required.
